How should we treat soldering iron tips correctly?

1. Choose an appropriate and largest soldering iron tip

Avoid using small soldering iron tips

2. Use a clean and moist sponge to clean the soldering iron tip

Do not use dry sponges or rags

3. Use sponge without sulfur and deionized water

Do not use household sponges

4. Don't forget to shut down the system when not in use

5. Don't forget to immerse the soldering iron tip in tin when not in use

6. Use a METCAL copper wire ball to clean rusty soldering iron tips

Do not use any abrasives

7. Do not use soldering iron tips that are too hot

Use low-temperature soldering iron tips as much as possible

8. Do not use ordinary soldering iron tips for soldering

Use a specially designed soldering iron tip to pull and solder

9. Do not place the solder wire directly on the soldering iron tip

The solder wire should be placed directly on the solder pad

10. Do not use high temperature and no soldering flux

Avoid using highly reactive soldering flux

A disassembly gasket should be used to replace the soldering iron tip
